Hearthfire is a Heathen Community located in the Atlanta area. We gather monthly to facilitate in-person religious and community growth. We exist to honor the Gods, Ancestors, and Spirits, and to build a community with belief in and knowledge of the Old Ways. We seek to establish inclusivity and pluralism with a foundation of historical heathenry while allowing our community to grow and prosper spiritually
Heathenry is the historical polytheistic faith of the ancient Germanic peoples and the Gods they worshipped and its iterations in the modern day. At Hearthfire, we believe in the pre-christian pan-germanic faith of the people who worshipped the Germanic Gods in ancient times. Our approach is historically based, with modern practices inspiring the furthering of a living tradition
Heathfire Community participates in a pluralistic approach to spirituality. We provide a safe space for all inclusive expressions of faith. We embrace a diversity of faiths to worship as members of Hearthfire in a welcoming capacity. Hearthfire does not stand for proselytizing, derision or hostility of members’ faiths.
At Hearthfire, Inclusivity means racism and bigotry have no place in Paganism of any kind, and anyone who discriminates based on race, sex, gender identity, sexuality, financial status, or ability is not someone who should be associated with. If you stand with hatred, you stand alone.
